Testimonials
At the end of weekend workshops when I am worn out, and I know Aziza has worked ten times harder than I have (at least), and that it has been just one stop in her grueling schedule... And she still radiates nothing but deep love and joy for the dance, I have to believe she is the real deal. I've been to enough workshops to see how the instuctors' humanity shows through under such high demand conditions. That girl is a total pro, who dances from her very beautiful heart. I come away from her workshops feeling inspired and lucky to live in her time- she is truly a "Great."

I have been to some good workshops. But Aziza blew me away this weekend.
When she showed us the choreography we'd be learning each day, we didn't believe it. I didn't think I could dance like that with a year of hard work, never mind a day.
But she led us through it. Broke it down, led us through the material in bite size chunks, and helped us put it all together.
Along the way, I learned so much about body lines, dance technique and movement theory!
It was challenging, but never frustrating. I enjoyed myself, I could have kept dancing for hours and hours.
But more than that-- I am inspired. I am capable of more than I imagined. I know what to do now to take my dancing to a whole a new level. I have lots of new tools to work with. I'm excited.
I also feel a little sad because if I'd had a teacher like her for even a few weeks anywhere along the line of my dance journey, I'd be 5 years ahead of where I am now as a dancer.
I wish I could afford to just follow her around and take all her workshops for a year!!

I know I asked you not to "kick my butt" on Saturday, but I'm soooooo glad you did! I've never been more exhausted, but loved every minute of it. What an honor for a two year newbie like me to work with the best, not to mention my favorite. You're AMAAAAAZING! To watch your joy as you dance is inspiring and keeps my heart going! I'll always treasure this weekend and hope to meet up with you again.

Thank you for a wonderful workshop and a beautiful
performance. WOW!!!! I've known for awhile that how
you practice is how you perform, but I've never
thought of being "amazed." I LOVE that and will
remember it when I practice and perform.
It was also such a pleasure to meet you. Your
personality shines through in your dancing and draws
in the audience. Thank you for taking us on the
journey with you.

You gave so much of yourself that I wanted to let you know that all of us thought you are by far the most hardworking woman I´ve ever seen. I have never attended a workshop for master teachers where the teacher took time to give corrections, both general and personal in such extent you did. I was very happy and astounded to see how serious you are about dancing and giving your knowledge to others.

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your workshop and show in Singapore!
I learned so much from you over the weekend and you really inspired me to become a better dancer and teacher.
I was amazed at the way you went around correcting students, even though the workshops were really full!
I just wanted to let you know that you are not only a fantastic performer, but also a fantastic teacher. For me, that is the most important. And as your student, I just wanted to let you know that I learned a lot from you, not only regarding bellydance techniques and choreography, but also how to become a better teacher.

This is a brief note to simply tell you how much I enjoyed your workshop in Singapore and your truly beautiful performance in the show. At the end of your second set - I had tears in my eyes. Stunning.
When I discovered you would be teaching in Singapore I was totally thrilled to have the opportunity and honour to attend. Your teaching style is warm and unintimidating, and your are delightfully generous with your information.
Thank you so much for showing us, clearly, the integrity and depth of soul that is Belly Dance.

Thank you very much for having a workshop in Seattle!! I'm glad that I took your WS and so grateful for what you taught me. I learned a lot, both techniques and positive attitude toward practicing in just a short two-hour workshop. I re-discovered that I loooove bellydancing and the inspiration source within me. You are AMAZING and FABULOUS as a person, a teacher and a performer. I'm so respectful for your dedication for the art and wish you the best!

I attended your workshops in Winston-Salem, NC this past weekend, and I wanted to thank you for being such a wonderful instructor. I hugged you goodbye on Sunday after the last workshop and started to cry. It had been such a truly amazing and powerful weekend, I was overcome with emotion when it was all over. I tried to hold myself together but was crying too much to clearly tell you that that was my first workshop and real bellydancing event since I began lessons back in February. I really wanted to tell you that you have been such an inspiration to me even before I began lessons, and that I was truly honoured to be able to learn from you and to see you perform up close in person. Your workshops were invaluable to me, I learned so much, I can't express my gratitude enough. I will take what I learned and carry it with me for the rest of my dancing career. Your performance onstage was breathtaking, even my 10-month-old son was riveted!

You are so masterful and brilliant at interpreting the music, you take us on a journey with every one of your steps. Your style, showmanship, and talent are unmatchable. You have all the warmth and charisma, and your personality and character shines brightly thru. You probably hear it a lot but you are what I think a dancer is and should aspire to be.
I guess you would say you are my Hero dancer. Do you come with a cape? A nice big red one with a Big A on the back, with an eye mask....AZIZA WOMAN....

Last weekend I participated in your workshop in Ourense (Spain) and in the show organized by my teacher Natalie Bax. I would like to thank you both for the great effort you have made, so that beginners as we could enjoy this unique opportunity and these three incredible days. I don't have words to express what it means to me to experience the passion and magic of your dance and to have the privilege to learn with you during these days. You have impressed us very much with your perfection in belly dance, but probably more with your human quality, simpaty, simplicity, proximity and your wonderful smile that touches the heart deeply. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience. We hope to see you soon.

Many thanks for that fantastic workshop I attended in Brussels. For your warm up, your smile and the generosity you give us during the course. You are truly a great teacher and I was honored to have been able to be a part of your class. You transmit the joy of living and the passion for that beautiful dance everywhere you go. I look forward to seeing you very soon for a next workshop...
